Finally a friend invited me to a free intro to RAW Vegan, run by Val in 2008.
I saw Val's legs and energy as she spoke about her passion and immediately decided that I needed to know what she knew and signed up for her course.
Two weeks into the course I shaved my head and went 100% RAW VEGAN overnight. The transformation over the following weeks was amazing.
Before I knew it, I could run 10k's without stopping to walk, I had flexibility in yoga that I never thought possible, I lost weight (which I didn't realise I had!), my skin glowed with good health — and little physical issues I had, disappeared like magic.
However, the best transformation of all was on the spiritual and mental plane. My focus was incredible, and powers of attraction made my life so easy.
[Val's note: when you eat food from Nature, the most amazing serendipities "run" your life; you enter into a flow with Source energy because you are eating food that is pure Source energy.]

I was born and grew up barefoot on a dairy farm in southern Africa where meat and milk were plentiful. Yet the only time I felt good after a meal was when we had simple salads for dinner.
To this day my 3 trillion cells dance with delight when I have a green smoothie. Yes, like many others the temptations of cooked food and the inevitable coffee and chocolate crept back into my life... and I regrew my hair!
I still have a plant based and high raw diet. Every morning I wake up with the desire to be 100% raw vegan once more.
The more you take part in health summits, the stronger your resolve will grow.

As a grandmother I know how difficult it is to get children to eat not only veg but even fruit. My own grandchildren would live on cucumber, bananas and apples.
Find a way to get the food our Creator intended for our bodies into those growing little ones... smoothies always work.
Let them help to prepare. Start off with the few they like and gently add new flavours.
Offer fruit in slices or cubes, make cute creations (find youtube videos or pinterest and Instagram pics for inspiration), wrap bananas in lettuce leaves and call them bananas in pyjamas. Let it be joyful fun.
I hope to inspire many souls to get back to a LIVING diet that benefits our wonderful world in every way — as I take on the responsibility of writing the weekly newsletter on this site.
Live well and find happiness.
